    HOME ROTATION II 20JAN20192000Z

OPERATION ORDER TO: A COY 2 PARA BN FROM: SULLIVAN, CPL, A COY ITC IC SUBJECT: HOME ROTATION II 202000ZJAN19 ++++++++++++++BEGINS++++++++++++++++ I. SITUATION It has been 3 days since civilian Joe Blogs has been taken by local separatist forces. His last known location is the town of Gorka in Chernarus. The town has long been evacuated due to local unrest and is believed to only be occupied by enemy forces. II. GROUND Undulating terrain with intermittent tree cover and a variety of building. Surrounded by forest to the north and sweeping fields to the south and east. III. ENEMY FORCES The very deadly Figure 11 enemy. Morale is assessed to be incredibly high, these men fear nothing and will stand their ground no matter the threat in front of them. IV. FRIENDLY FORCES B Coy have been pulled from their own manoeuvres in the north to assist, they have their own tasking but will act as QRF if needed and halt any escape by the enemy to the north. V. IN DETAIL Phase 1: Company will depart Camp Freddie and head towards the West side of Gorka, disembarking vehicles at a sensible distance and proceeding on foot to Phase line Yellow. Phase 2: We will strategically and methodically clear through all sectors, 1/1 to take north of the MSR and 1/3 to take south. Searching for Mr Blogs as we go. His most likely whereabouts is marked as Objective Mars. Reports suggest a enemy lightly fortified position and also a circa 1950's AA truck, making infil by helicopter unsuitable. Being an old and slow mechanical system, it possesses little/no threat to fixed wing assets. Phase 3: Once we reach PHASE LINE BLUE a full assault on to Objective Mars will be undertaken. Once cleared of all enemy presence, controlled detonation is to be performed on all enemy assets. Mr Blogs can be identified by his civilian clothing and hopefully a camera in hand should he be able to keep hold of it. Should Mr Blogs not be located at Objective Mars, the enemy is attempting to extract him to sympathising forces north east. B Coy will have halted their escape and he will be most likely held at Objective Ares. Enemy can be expected from the east shortly after the assault. If capable this will be destroyed by fixed wing assets. Phase 4: Company will move through the forest to the north on to objective Ares. Phase 5: Black phase line acts as LOE. Back to camp for tea and medals. VI. CSS i. Dress: CEFO, MTP and PPE. ii. Equipment: SOP iii. Weapons. SOP iv. Meds/CMT: As per SOP. v. POW & Detainees: Report to 10A. VII. COMMAND AND SIGNAL i. UPDATE A3: Modpack

Our modpack has been updated; please update now. The following changes have been made: Added: @cactus Updated: @ace - RHS compatability removed. Removed: @falcon @rhsusaf @rhsafrf NB: @rhsusaf and @rhsafrf will be required again after Christmas. They have been removed as there simply isn't space for everything on the FTP at once, and they are not required for Operation Cactus. DO NOT / DO NOT allow ArmA3sync to delete them if you don't want to have to download them again after Christmas. Just untick them before clicking the "play" button on download addons and let them stay blue. The same goes for @falcon if you want to play it again any time soon (e.g, this evening). Size of update: ~16GB. We might be able to reduce the size of @cactus, but probably not any quicker than you can download it.

WARNING ORDER TO: A COY, DESERT SANDS SANDTROOPER UNIT FROM: SILBOT, LT, OC A COY, DESERT SANDS SANDTROOPER UNIT SUBJECT: Operation FALCON I 022000ZDEC18 +++++++++++++++BEGINS+++++++++++++++ I. PRELIMS Time: 1630L Weather: cold and foggy at dusk and dawn; hot and sunny during the day Current pos: FOB DESERT FORTRESS TASK ORG 0 - Lord Vader (née Millar) 0A - Lt Silbot¦ 10A - 2Lt MacDonald 41A - A/LCpl Cullen II. GROUND Mountainous desert with small oases at the bottom of some valleys. Lightly populated with limited access by road. III. SITUATION Two high-value targets were seen escaping the capture of the rebel ship Tantive IV. A moisture farm they were staying at has been thoroughly cleared by C Coy. We have just received HUMINT that the HVTs are currently in the settlement of Mos Eisley, hoping to meet a smuggler who can get them out of the area. We have been deployed to the loosely adminstered tribal areas surrounding Mos Eisley to CAPTURE these HVTs. FRIENDLY FORCES A Coy 2 Plt and 3 Plt will provide a security cordon to the SOUTH, EAST and WEST of the settlement. B Coy will provide security cordon to the NORTH from armoured vehicles. Flight will enforce a NO FLY ZONE between eastings 07 and 09, and northings 09 and 11. ENEMY FORCES Strength: 3-4x hostiles in the settlement, including HVTs. Dozens of armed civilians and security guards, whose reaction to our presence is uncertain. Approximately company strength hostiles in the AO outside of the cordon, operating from an unknown position. There are also small numbers of tribal militias operating in the AO who are presumed hostile, but are outside of the cordon. Morale: reasonable. Small arms: A mixture of stolen E-11 blaster rifles and other rifles. Heavy Weapons: limited number of heavy machine guns. No anti-tank munitions expected. Vehicles: a small number of civilian vehicles. Two unarmed friendly APCs are unaccounted for, presumed stolen. Aircraft: limited numbers of lightly armed UTD-60 U-wing troop transports escorted by A-wings. Air threat: low. Mine threat: none. IV. MISSION We are to conduct an AIR ASSAULT onto the settlement of Mos Eisley and CAPTURE two HVTs. Detailed description of these targets will be given in-field. Friendly forces will provide a cordon to prevent all egress and ingress into the AO for the duration of our operation. We will land at GR 072 105 and move south-east down the valley, and then east. We will clear the local cantina which the smuggler is known to frequent. We will then move further east until we find the HVTs. The HVTs must be captured unharmed. We have been provided with less-than-lethal weapons to ensure this. BN HQ has made it clear the value of these targets is so high that some losses are acceptable. MAP DATA Due to the remote location, our map data is limited. We do not know the exact positions of any buildings in the area. SATINT V. EXECUTION Detailed briefing will be given in field. VI. ROE Will be explained in field. The majority of the people in the AO will be totally innocent and we should try to keep our intrusion into their lives as short and undisruptive as possible. VII. CSS i. Dress: Standard stormtrooper armour. ii. Weapons: Standard issue E-11 blaster rifles. iii. Ammo: Stun rounds for the E-11. iv. Meds/CMT: CSMR are to operate as per SOP. IIX. 20. OPERATION ORDER TO: A COY 2 PARA BN FROM: SILBOT, LT, OC A COY 2 PARA SUBJECT: Operation IRON UNIFORM VIII 252000ZNOV18 +++++++++++++++BEGINS+++++++++++++++ I. PRELIMS Time: 0330L Weather: cold and foggy at dusk and dawn; hot and sunny during the day Current pos: FOB KEYSTONE TASK ORG: 0A - Lt Silbot 10A - 2Lt MacDonald 41A - A/LCpl Cullen II. GROUND Limited high ground with dirt roads connecting compounds, gives way to fields with trees and shallow ditches lining the boundaries. Roads are limited in the lowlands and connect mud-walled compounds. III. SITUATION With 4 days remaining in our rotation of Operation Resolute Support, we would normally be preparing our gear and equipment ready to hand over Camp Fulmar, FOB Skua, FOB Keystone and Outpost Nevis. However with the disappearance of Pte Toonen all installations are on high alert. Due to the speed in which it was constructed, FOB Keystone lacked critical protection and defences which would have prevented many elements of the Taliban attack. According to ANA intel, the 3 most likely places Pte Toonen will have been taken to are as follows: The village of Pradesh is located north west of the now demolished Tal Kar and is considered in the friendly area of influence. The enemy stronghold of Kamar is junction used by the enemy to access Andi along with the areas surrounding Chahar Dara and Kar Shek, it is possible he has been taken here ready to be moved elsewhere when possible. There is a cave to the north of Kar Shek that is used regularly by traffickers as a storage location. It is believed that the traffickers pay the ANP to ignore it. It is possible but unlikely that Pte Toonen is located behind our lines within a Taliban cell, however every possibility is being considered. After an agreement between BN HQ and the ANA, the ANA have agreed to conduct an assault on Andi during the early hours of the morning in order to pull any fighters or resources away from our search and rescue operations. ENEMY FORCES Strength: J2 assessed as Coy Strength remaining in our AO. Morale: Assessed as reasonable Small arms: Generally AK type small arms up to 14.5mm of Russian manufacture but with some older western FN type armaments being displayed. Hvy Weapons: RPG7 or variants and 82mm mortars are likely. Vehicles: Civilian vehicles or technicals Aircraft: Not likely Air Threat: Not likely Mine Threat: LOW in general but assume HIGH IED threat in areas of interest. FRIENDLY FORCES A Coy 2 Plt with be stationed at FOB SKUA, 3 Plt will be on standby at Camp FULMAR. ANA understrength Coy in the AO. ANP Patrols in the AO. Air assets are available. IV. MISSION We are to conduct a search and rescue operation at dawn to locate and extract Pte Toonen who was captured during the previous Taliban assault on the newly created FOB Keystone. Pte Toonen is believed to be in Pradesh, Kamar or a cave system north of Kar Shek. Whilst we conduct this operation, the ANA will conduct a dawn assault on Andi with the objective of capturing and securing both Andi and Kamar. Both are considered enemy strongholds. After completing our search and rescue operation and A Coy is secure back at FOB Keystone, we will prep for extraction and hand over of all installations to the incoming UN troops and US army rangers. V. EXECUTION Orders from Lt Silbot/2Lt MacDonald to follow. VI. ROE Card ALPHA. People live and work in this AO and we are not here to disrupt that. I expect sighting reports to be coming to me before anyone starts engaging targets unless there is a clear and immediate threat to life. VII. CSS i. Dress: CEFO, MTP and PPE. ii. 24. OPERATION ORDER TO: A COY 2 PARA BN FROM: SILBOT, CAPT, OC A COY 2 PARA SUBJECT: Operation IRON UNIFORM VI 112000ZNOV2018 +++++++++++++++BEGINS+++++++++++++++ I. PRELIMS Time: 0530L Weather: cold and foggy at dusk and dawn; hot and sunny during the day Current pos: FOB SKUA TASK ORG: 0 - CAPT Silbot 10A - Lt MacDonald 10B - Sgt Dahl 41A - A/LCpl Cullen II. GROUND Limited high ground with dirt roads connecting compounds, gives way to fields with trees and shallow ditches lining the boundaries. Roads are limited in the lowlands and connect mud-walled compounds. III. SITUATION After a very successful operation in Chahar Dara, we have begun construction of a new FOB (codename KEYSTONE) within Chahar Dara which will greatly improve our response times to situations within our area of influence. Once we have completed KEYSTONE, 2 platoon will move into FOB SKUA with 3 platoon remaining at Camp FULMAR. We now know the identities of the local Taliban commander, his son, 2 remaining deputies and the smuggler he associates with along with. Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to confirm the INTEL we have on enemy resources and troop movements. However we do now know how resources and fighters are entering the area undetected. In the 3 days since construction of KEYSTONE began, a number of mortar rounds, RPGs and small arms have been fired towards KEYSTONE and Kar Shek. Unfortunately, one of the mortar rounds fired towards Kar Shek fatally wounded the police chief. We also believe that a number of Taliban have disguised themselves within the civilian population as the bodies of a village elder and his son were found near Tabeed. Both are believed to have been executed. The enemy stronghold of Anbar Tappeh along with the village of Gerdan have been a regular source of SIGINIT. Along with limited HUMINT from the ANA and ANP, we believe the enemy have brought large amounts of reinforcements in the form of fighters, weapons, ammunition, explosives and other materiel into the AO. We currently have no INTEL as to the intended destination of these resources. Due to these events, the planned night assaults on Andi and the stronghold of Kamar have been postponed until further notice in order to allocate all required resources for an assault on the suspected enemy HQ of Tal Kar before it can be reinforced. Due to the current air threat, air support is restricted from crossing further north than Tap La. MEDEVACs will need to fly NOE once north of Tap Ka. BN HQ is considering a ROE adjustment in response to the evolving environment. Vehicles: Civilian vehicles or technicals Aircraft: Not likely Air Threat: At least 1x FIM-92 Stinger Mine Threat: LOW in general but assume HIGH IED threat in areas of interest. FRIENDLY FORCES A Coy 2 & 3 Plt will be on standby at Camp FULMAR ANA understrength Coy in the AO. Air assets are available. IV. MISSION With environment around us changing regularly, BN HQ has decided the capture of the suspected Taliban HQ of Tal Kar is key to the creation of a buffer zone between ourselves and the enemy. We will therefore liaise with the ANA at their base in Chahar Dara, The ANA will place themselves into a fire support position in the desert hills to the south west of Tal Kar, giving us to cover to assault Tal Kar itself. Troops are to exercise caution when engaging targets. There is a high possibility that the enemy will use human shields in their operations. The relationship and level of trust between ourselves and the civilian population is on a knife edge after deaths of the village elder and his son, the relationship between civilians and the ANA/ANP is not far behind. There is also a possibility that the enemy will have left key intelligence in and around the compounds of Tal Kar. We are not expecting a defending force of more than 2 sections. 2 platoon are currently tasked with security around KEYSTONE. 3 platoon will continue to hold their positions south of Andi. The ANA with continue to hold Kar Shek Ark along with their positions around Tanpeh and south of Andi. V. EXECUTION Orders from Capt Silbot/Lt MacDonald to follow. VI. ROE Card ALPHA. People live and work in this AO and we are not here to disrupt that. I expect sighting reports to be coming to me before anyone starts engaging targets unless there is a clear and immediate threat to life. VII. CSS i. Dress: CEFO, MTP and PPE. ii.
