    Signals

    ITC will be holding a phase two Signals course. This is improve basic radio discipline and moving onto platoon level signals. Students will learn CORRECT Voice procedures, Contact Reports, sitreps and much more. Phase two signals is required for many specialised roles and for further promotion and is also required for getting promoted.

    Phase 1

    Phase one teaches the six-section battle drills and the very basics required to function in a section. It’s based on the tactics of the British Army and will contain both theory and practicals for each battle drill. We will conduct this using BFA’s at a number of ranges from the airfield to the phase one training area. The objective of the training is to make you ready for your phase one assessment where you will be asked questions during a Sunday Op, do well in the assessment and you be promoted to private and become a permanent member of 16AA. Please review the following material before the session to get a rough idea of what will be taught:
