    Phase One

    Phase one teaches the six section battle drills and the very basics required to function in a section. It’s based on the tactics of the British Army and will contain both theory and practicals for each battle drill. We will conduct this using BFA’s at a number of ranges from the airfield to the phase one training area. The objective of the training is to make you ready for your phase one assessment where you will be asked questions during a Sunday Op, do well in the assessment and you be promoted to private and become a permanent member of 16AA. SITUATION Ground Port town surrounded by sandy desert with small oasis and localised villages. Enemy Forces Known & Suspected En. Positions: Area to the West of Tobruk Strength: Wehmacht Regiment. Morale: High. Weapons: Standard Afrika Corps Equipment IDF: Unknown Vehicles: Various tanks, some Hanomags and trucks Aircraft: Multiple airframes Air Threat: High. Enemy Intent: To occupy the city of Tobruk Company Commanders Intent Prevent enemy resupply efforts. PROBABLE MISSION Defend Tobruk in order to deny the enemy use of the port. Probable Missions/Tasks 1 Section: Defend outpost Joseph in order to block enemy access to northern Tobruk. 3 Section: Defend patrol base John in order to hold the port. Weather: Overcast. Task Org FSG will form the Panzer Group. SITUATION Ground The area is green hills with moderate forests. Towns are frequent and vary in size. The populace is still active and is either aligned to the Reich or the Communists. Enemy Forces Known & Suspected En. Positions: The Dam East of the dropzone and the town of Staroye Strength: NKVD Regiment. Morale: High. Weapons: Standard Soviet Munitions IDF: Unknown Vehicles: T34-85s Aircraft: Multiple airframes from two Aerodromes in the area Air Threat: High. Enemy Intent: To push Reich forces out of Soviet Russia Company Commanders Intent Not Known PROBABLE MISSION Destroy NKVD headquarters at Staroye. Probable Missions/Tasks 1 section: a) Secure the east side of the dam and b) protect the panzer groups advance in order to allow the panzer group to advance to Staroye. 3 Section: a) Secure the west side of the dam and b) protect the panzer groups advance in order to allow the panzer group to advance to Staroye. Panzer Group: Destroy the NKVD headquarters.     Phase One

    There will be a phase one training session for all recruits that have not yet completed phase one. Please review the following material before the session to get a rough idea of what will be taught.

  13. Based on the real life Infantry Training Centre of the British Army, ITC are responsible for the basic training and advanced training within the unit. We're looking for volunteers to join ITC in order help keep maintain and improve the units infantry skills and drills. Responsibilities: Conduct at least one training session per month (priority given to phase ones). Help organise and run home rotations. Develop new lessons and qualifications based on SOP's. Rewards: Have a say on how we conduct training. Help new recruits develop their skills. Become an expert in infantry tactics. Requirements: Have served for 3 months or longer. Passed the Defence Instructional Techniques Course (Two night course to be held very soon). Can commit to at least one training night a month on average.   15. WARNING ORDER TO: 435 INF BGD FROM: Lt Silbot SUBJECT: Operation MEMENTO I ++++++++++++++BEGINS++++++++++++++++ PRELIMS Current Position: SW Brigade Camp, Staszow, Poland. Weather: Overcast. TASK ORG FSG will form the Tank Brigade. SITUATION GROUND It is Winter and therefore the area is covered in deep snow. The area is sparse woodland and large open expanses. The villages are small and battered by constant fighting in the area. The local populace has either fled or been killed by the vile SS. ENEMY FORCES Known & Suspected En. Positions: The Castle of Szydlow Strength: 176th SS Division. Their number range from 20-30 guards within the castle. The total numbers of patrolling enemy are unknown. Morale: High. Weapons: Standard Wermacht munitions IDF: A group of Wespe SPG (Must be destroyed before the attack on Staszow), 8 cm Granatwerfer 34. Vehicles: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Aircraft: Support from 113th Luftwaffe at Kopanina Aerodrome. Bf-109,Bf-110,Fw190,He 111. Air Threat: High. Enemy Intent: The SS have encamped in the north of the region. They have taken over the Castle of SZYDLOW and are inflicting their Fascist misery on the good Communist peoples of Poland. We must drive this wretched abomination from our sacred Motherland. PROBABLE MISSION Seize the castle of Szydlow in order to eradicate the fascist dogs. PROBABLE TASKS Infantry will seize the castle of Szydlow. Tanks will move in support of the infantry. Our Airforce must destroy the Wespe SPG threat to the North before our attack commences. Then will provide air cover for any further attacks from the air. OWN MAIN EFFORT The seizing of Castle of Szydlow.
