  1. Just saying that I was also interested in the Tobii when it launched but I got a little suspicous when youtubers were really overly enthusiastic about it and said they would never use anything else again and yet they used Track IR again in all their following videos.

  4. Hello Pte Coxson, Yes that would very well be possible! What interests me about the 16AA? First of all it is a group that focuses on realism, which was the most important criteria when I was searching for a group. Moreover, the 16AA uses the right kind of mods. While there are quite a lot realism groups out there, astonishingly many do not not use mods like ACE or TFR, that are mandatory in my opinion, if you strive for realism. And there is the interesting command structure where even artillery is controlled and fired by other people. Mostly I saw this being done by the AI and I find it very interesting that the 16AA chooses a different approach. I am also interested because of the large scale combat with the use of combined arms, which is the thing I missed the most while playing solo or in small groups. Regarding research, I watched the some videos (the 3 hour operation videos not from start to finish but 10 minutes here and there in the video) and I read some of the the intel and fragmentary order to get a gist how the 16AA likes to make their operations. And I was really positively surprised by what I saw. The amount of detail that seems to be put into these operations and their execution was on a level I'm only used to from the payware campaigns in DCS and only very few ARMA missions. Thus far I haven't jumped on the Teamspeak server. So why not any other milsim group? Because the 16AA combines all the things I mentioned above. These are all things I like in my milsim. And the 16AA has the size to support these operations properly and is based in Europe. Thus far I haven't found any other group that offers all this. That's why I want to join.

I'm Timo, I'm 18 years old and I play ARMA and DCS since 2011. These games are among my favorites because they offer a combination of fun, tension and constant challenge almost no other games can offer. In real life I'm a student, who is finished with school and waiting for the university to start. As a hobby I play handball, so I know how important regular training is for a team. This is why I tell you right away that I cannot participate EVERY Wednesday and Sunday but most of them. But sometimes friends, work (yes I'm a student, but sometimes I work in the evenings to add something to my pocket money) and my hobbies will get in my way. But still I am sure I can participate often enough to be a valuable asset in this group. The only ARMA related thing in my real life is that I sometimes play some paintball with friend for the giggles. PREVIOUS GROUPS: I was never in any big tactical group. I play in ARMA and DCS mostly solo, sometimes with 2-3 friends. REASON FOR APPLYING: Since I started to play ARMA and DCS I loved them and saw especially in ARMA the potential to really shine when it is played in larger groups. Sadly I never felt that I had the time nor did I find the right group to realise this wish to play ARMA at a larger scale. But now I think I've found the right group and do have the time. So I'm am eager to finally play ARMA as a part of a bigger group. WERE YOU REFERRED TO US: I found this group on the ARMA forums.
