This is a top quality thread! I feel like I've been doing this for a while by now... and then I see all these ancient videos

Yeah, this happened on our way to VCP Haggis. The situation was a mess. I'd have loved to confiscate their weapons, but they weren't about to let us, and as we were outnumbered our best bet was to stall (by playing along) and wait for reinforcements, or just gtfo and have ISTAR on them. I'd have preferred the latter

More details on unit in next section. Additionally, I was part of the 6th Airborne Division, an Arma 3 Realism unit, where I have gained knowledge and experience of Arma 3 Realism. I have good experience with most of the mods that you guys use as well, except ACRE. When it comes to real life, I think the best candidate for experience might be when I was hunting cows last summer... PREVIOUS GROUPS: First relevant group I was in is the 208th Strike Regiment. The 208th Strike Regiment started back in Planetside 2, where we ran a structured semi-realistic style (It's Planetside after all). This is where I got hooked on structured and organised team play. During my time in the 208th (approx 2 years), I had several different roles. Most relevant, I served as a fire team leader and eventually a squad leader in the infantry branch. As mentioned above, I reached the rank of sergeant. Additionally, I held different managerial executive officer roles. This included Publicity, Recruitment, and temporarily acting Infantry XO. The 208th eventually switched their main game to Arma 3. I left a short while after due to my wish for more realistic and structured gameplay. The last year and a half (roughly), I've been part of the 6th Airborne Division. The 6th Airborne Division is an Arma 3 Realism unit based on the modern British military. In the 6th, I was an infantryman to the bone, with a small traumatising trip as a reserve signaller. I have experience as both IC and 2IC in an infantry section and was an acting corporal during the absence of the actual corporal. As for Non-Combat-Group (managerial) roles, I was in the REME for some time, helping out as a Server Admin. In the 6th, REME manages mods and servers. I left the 6th Airborne Division for the same reason as the 208th. My hunt for ever more realism and MilSim. REASON FOR APPLYING: Over the last few months, I've been talking to one of your members and an old friend of mine. He's convinced me that what you guys do here is MilSim done properly; which is exactly what I'm looking for. WERE YOU REFERRED TO US: Pte. J. Nielsen, 1/2. Nielsen and I know each other from previous units and he convinced me to join you. As did your various YouTube videos.
