COMUSFOR has denied permission for large scale operation to clear TOTTAH on basis of likely civilian casualties and collateral damage and has requested instead USSOCOM assistance to identify and disrupt leadership figures in order to prompt capitulation by remaining DS elements. Recce by local cover assets is expected to report on precise locations in the next 24 hours, and engineers are standing by to produce mock ups for rehearsal purposes. CONCEPT OF OPERATION UK Forces currently in place SOUTH of TOTTAH holding BLOCKING POSITIONS to prevent target from fleeing the area will provide cover for extract of main assault force. RAID will be covert OPs inserted by rotary at distance followed up by simultaneous delivery of assault elements and blocking force to immediate outskirts of target area by USSOCOM rotary assets.
