Apologies for the tardiness. I've been working at getting updating the infrastructure required pretty much non-stop since the modpack update was requested yesterday morning.

Size: ~800MB.

 

Edit: if you downloaded this before 4:10pm UK time, please check A3Sync again as there has been a very small hotfix.

 

NB: please make sure ArmA3Sync points to ftp.16aa.net, not connect.16aa.net.

NB: @rhsusaf and @rhsafrf will be required again after Christmas. They have been removed as there simply isn't space for everything on the FTP at once, and they are not required for Operation Cactus. DO NOT / DO NOT allow ArmA3sync to delete them if you don't want to have to download them again after Christmas. Just untick them before clicking the "play" button on download addons and let them stay blue.

The same goes for @falcon if you want to play it again any time soon (e.g, this evening).

Size of update: ~16GB.

 

We might be able to reduce the size of @cactus, but probably not any quicker than you can download it.

    • Various units updated to use new third-party addons, most notably:
      • new GPMG
      • new L110A3
      • new L129A1 and scope
    • Various new third-party weapons will now use 16AA magazines
    • Crates updated with new sights and guns
    • Irrelevant third-party weapons hidden from editor (e.g, those that use magazines that we don't have).
    • Foxhound:
      • has been given a slight engine upgrade so it shouldn't be so slow up hills
      • now has useful stuff in its inventory
      • should appear in the right place in the editor
    • Most 16AA vehicles will now be populated with crew when they are placed in Zeus or the editor
    • Our units now have slightly neater code, which could have messed up some people's gear. Let me know if you spot anything.
    • Some units now spawn with scrim helmets
    • Fixed medical dummy
    • NVGs now start off in your inventory rather than on your helmet
  • @16aa_thirdparty
    • 3CB's L7A2, L129A1, L110A3 added
      • The textures aren't fantastic but are quite a bit better than what was there before, I think.
    • 3CB accessories added
    • RKSL sights added
    • Foxhound patch moved to first party

    • Fixed lots of our magazines being weightless (sorry)
    • L85 and its variants now have working Emags (little magazine window that lets you see the first 10 or so bullets) - thanks to Morris, da12thMonkey and Tigg
    • People will now spawn with randomised headgear
    • The Foxhound's driver has a little more freedom of head movement
    • Excorcised Zeus's fleas
    • Added 152s to more units - JHC IC, Signallers, Platoon medics
    • Platoon IC slots now have access to a couple of HuntIR rounds and a monitor
    • Slightly increased cargo carrying capacity of the Foxhound and added useful gubbins to it, which should actually appear now
    • Slightly increased the value of the 16AA units so that enemies will use some of their more expensive toys against us

 

Size of update: ~10MB.

 

Known issues: @sthud has a pop-up error. I'm investigating a replacement for it, but have hit some slight snags. Foxhound can only carry one unconscious person, and they have to go in the top-right cover seat.

    • Was causing pop-up errors. @dui seems to generally be better.

NB: If you used @sthud, you may need to manually click "refresh" in ArmA3Sync and drag @dui across to the list of mods you use.
