UPDATE A3: Modpack

Our modpack has been updated; please update now.

The following changes have been made:

Updated:

  • @16aa
    • Added Foxhound to Zeus
    • Added 16AA section groups to Zeus
  • @dui
    • Our patch got merged so we're back on stable
  • @cba_a3
    • Hotfix to previous update which broke some stuff
  • @achilles (16AA fork)
    • Slowed suppressive fire rates down

 

Size: ~4MB.

The following changes have been made:

    • Foxhound is now classed as an "MRAP" and so it should be a bit quieter inside
    • Added slight hillshade to in-game map to make up for lack of contour labelling (feedback wanted)

    • Swapped unlocked_uniforms for ace_nouniformrestrictions

    • Added shims for 3CB Apache classnames to prevent old missions from breaking

    • Reverted to stable version (6-bangs are now 1-bangs). I hope this will fix server FPS issues

    • Radios now have their numbers next to them in the ACE interaction UI (I did a thing!)

    • After ~8 years, I finally got around to replacing the American rank slides with British ones
      • The icons themselves were kindly provided by The Wrecking Crew
    • Bumped up the armour values on the Virtus vest to be more comparable with RHS modern armour
    • Removed the "bog roll" overlay from the NVGs

    • Added more 16AA groups in the editor to make mission making easier as everybody will have the correct ranks (and gear, eventually).
      • Please let me know if I missed anything off
      • FSG in particular will need its gear updating, probably. Tell me what is missing and I'll fix it.
    • JHC now have their own rank slides (thanks @Plt Off Clayton for the images)
    • Most people should now spawn with four tourniquets.
  • @16aa_thirdparty - added a missing ace_compat PBO for the PMII sight. I'm amazed it worked without it.

    • Increased G-force tolerance of our pilots

    • Removed FIR AWS due to script errors - will re-add at a later date when we can test more thoroughly

    • Suspected it was causing desync / script errors

 

Please update TeamSpeak to version 3.3.0 once you have updated your mods.

      • I believe it may have been fighting with ACRE and causing some issues
    • Gave naked units uniforms to ameliorate that weird bug
    • Added unused respawn mod that I'll fix someday and enable

    • Renamed radio racks in many vehicles to prevent ACRE warning about names being too long (and prevent GUI from looking ugly)
    • Added intercom and radio rack to Foxhound
    • Fixed "bad vehicle type" errors when attempting to place many 16AA air vehicles with crew
    • Most 16AA air vehicles will now spawn with 16AA crew if they are not placed as empty
