20110310 training operation

As I promised I took some screenshots. Here's an example.

More will come soon, no time to editing in PS. Tired and going to sleep asap.

Note: In today's mission I was using Tactical Glasses. View was so bright and sharp that I didn't need to use NVG at all. So I could use ACOG during all time of mission.

Here's how does it look like. I had set gamma and brightness to default, no PS touch here. Picture number 4 is w/o glasses on.

I suggest to take tacticals for next mission in night, might be useful.

Are you sure you are playing on your native resolution?

Everything looks blurred, as if you'd be playing at some strange low resolution...

Are you referring to this picture maybe? It was taken when Chinook was starting, so that's why is blurry. I didn't wear protection goggles too. Other night screens I took when I was wearing tactical glasses.

Here are some screens from morning, w/o any glasses or goggles.

No, I'm talking about all screenshots, they actually look worse than my game, which is running on medium settings.

Everything in your screenshots definitely looks very low-res to me for some reason.

Definitely not compareable to Hicks' screenshots.

Still very nice work though.

EDIT: Now I know what it is, looks like you'd be playing on 16-bit colour pattern.

See this picture as an example, look at the helicopter and the shadows on it.

Look at the trees on the horizon on this pic.
