Political summary Disloyal elements of the military are attempting a coup against the government of Tangoa. These forces are being aided by Communist Mozambique. The Legislative Assembly has declared martial law, and military operations are underway to destroy the rebel armies. Simultaneously, Mozambican aircraft have begun bombing Tanoan city centers. The largest formation to break ranks Is the Tangoan African Rifles (TAR), a regiment of some 3,000 conscripts and non-commissioned personnel. Operating from the east hills of Tanoa, it is poised to strike at vital infrastructure and industry. It is presumed aided by Cuban, Angolan, and Mozambican forces on the ground. The Colonial Army is acting to block and deter further advances by the enemy until support can arrive from Rhodesia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. Tactical summary TAR forces are conducting an assault against security forces in the town of OUREME. Radio contact with security forces have been lost.

Enemy operating NORTH of OUREME is of unknown strength. Scout helicopters report significant small arms and AA-MG fire from vic Radioberg ridge. INT assesses likely that enemy formation is purely light infantry with MMGs in support. Enemy supply train is donkeys and trucks

Also be aware that there is a gear test version of the mission without any Enemy on Server #1 until 1 hour before the op. Use that as a chance to get to grips with what you'll be using. 1 rule is please do not leave the spawn area!
