Namalsk is lovely this time of year

Recommended Posts

It was nearly a year ago. How's everybody's PTSD holding up?

As you can see from my recent holiday snaps, Namalsk has really brightened up since we sorted out those local brigands. There's a small British garrison to keep the peace, tourists sometimes visit, a UN scientific survey keeps track of the wildlife, and it's almost idyllic. Just because some local brigands with ties to powerful Russian nationalists have been talking about the island as sovereign land, and just because the British garrison has, due to recent cuts, been reduced to what the papers are calling 'Symbolic' levels, doesn't mean there's anything to worry about.

See? It's a little frosty paradise. I even saw the sun shine once.
