Turnbull Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 I always wished I could speak fluent German, it's a great language to use and listen to. That and Gaelic, being a Scotsman and all. It's embarrassing to go to continental Europe and see that barely 1 in 20 British people even try to use the native language, especially when you see so many people (on these very forums for example!) are multi-lingual. I always try to pick up enough of the local language to get by when I'm out of the UK. It's just a shame I have no real talent for languages.
